Morning is great. So is this string of short but very well designed papers. Much fieldwork is still needed to understand the components of what is here called ´distributed knowledge ´. As the examples in the paper show, this key topic goes far beyond corporations and probably has its roots in biology. If ´simple ´ beings can show D.K. abilities, while programmed at birth and thus deprived of nearly any learning capacity, the two remaining explanations are either a part of their biological code or the hand of God. This visible effect of another kind of ´invisible hand ´reminds us that new paradigms are needed to explain phenomena trumpeted are purely cultural.
